Flanna Whistles
Flanna whistles are quality musical instruments. Each one is made with great care, and is voiced and tuned by hand.
Our tin whistles are very suitable for playing many types of folk music. For example: Irish, Scottish, Welsh and English music.
High Notes
It is very easy to hit the high notes with a Flanna whistle. The high notes are as melodic as the low notes!
Elliplical Holes
Our instruments have mostly elliptical tone holes. These holes are more comfortable for your fingers. So, they are easier to play than whistles with only round holes.
Flanna Medieval Flutes
We also make medieval flutes.
Our medieval flutes can have 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or even 8 holes. The tuning can be modern or any known ancient tuning.
Beautifully Decorated
Flanna medieval flutes are whistles made in the medieval style. They are made from thick walled, brass lined tufnol tubes. Then they are beautifully decorated.
